The Promise

Queen B Couture was born from a deep passion to see the modern woman confidently engage her world. Founded by Johannesburg fashion designer Beatrice Negonde, our couture house creates exclusive, handcrafted fashion that celebrates individuality, strength, and self-expression. Each Queen B Couture design is created to highlight a woman’s uniqueness and empower her to step into her life with confidence, elegance, and purpose.

We believe every woman is a masterpiece—an extraordinary blend of dreams, talents, and experiences. Through our asymmetrical couture, African print fashion, and custom designer pieces, we give women the freedom to express their identity through style. Our collections include authentic Ankara couture, elegant evening wear, and selected men’s fashion pieces, all designed and made locally in South Africa with exceptional craftsmanship.

To honour authenticity and quality, Queen B Couture uses only genuine Ankara fabrics sourced from trusted suppliers. Print availability may vary, but we offer carefully selected alternatives that preserve the beauty of each design. To maintain the integrity of our couture process, we do not accept client-supplied fabrics.

At Queen B Couture, our greatest pride is seeing women walk in confidence and joy. From your first consultation to your final fitting, we are committed to delivering a luxury couture experience that makes you feel seen, celebrated, and empowered. We invite you to visit our showroom in Johannesburg and discover our latest collection of African-inspired high fashion.

The Process

At Queen B Couture, every garment is handcrafted with precision, artistry, and care. Once you place your order and select your preferred design options, we will send you an official invoice with payment details. Production begins once payment is confirmed.

Our standard manufacturing time is three weeks (excluding public holidays), as each couture piece is designed and made locally in Johannesburg by designer Beatrice Negonde and her team. When your order is complete, we carefully package and ship it to your chosen address. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and collection from our Northgate Mall boutique is also available.

For deliveries within Gauteng, please allow approximately 4 working days after dispatch. Deliveries to other South African provinces may take 5 working days or more, depending on location. We currently ship with The Courier Guy for secure and reliable delivery.

Queen B Couture garments can be made in standard UK sizes or as custom-fitted couture. For custom orders, please ensure measurements are accurate and provided in inches. You may also book an appointment at our Johannesburg boutique for professional measurements. Please note that we cannot be responsible for incorrect measurements supplied.

We use only authentic Ankara fabrics sourced from trusted suppliers. Print availability may vary, and patterns may differ slightly from images. If your preferred print is unavailable, we will suggest similar options and confirm details before payment.

For special requests, styling consultations, or bespoke couture enquiries, please contact us via our website, phone, or WhatsApp using the product code.

Please Note:
This process does not apply to ready-made wedding dresses or sale items. Our wedding gowns are pre-made and available for immediate shipping.

Thank you for choosing Queen B Couture—where African high fashion meets individuality, elegance, and confidence.
